Advance your healthcare career as an Imaging professional specializing in cardiac catheterization technology. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a dynamic Cath Lab environment providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including outpatient, inpatient, and emergent cases. The department has two beds and operates with a 1:1 patient-to-tech ratio, ensuring focused, patient-centered care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shifts, Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
  • Option for 10-hour shifts, four days per week: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  • 40 hours guaranteed weekly
  • On-call and holiday coverage required

Required Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
  • Current Rad Tech State Licensure and ARRT Certification
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Proficient EKG testing skills (required upon submission)
  • Ability to float to nearby Munster Cath Lab as needed
  • Comfortable caring for both routine and emergent cardiac patients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain specialized cath lab imaging equipment
  • Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Adhere to strict safety and infection control protocols
  • Accurately document patient procedures using EMR (EPIC Cupid)
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Additional Information:

  • Orientation provided, including EPIC Cupid training
  • Scrubs in blue are provided for daily wear
  • Team-oriented professionals strongly preferred

$2,783 - $2,944/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
