Travel Cath Lab Technologist - Edison, CA

This position provides valuable hands-on exposure in a busy cardiovascular imaging department, where you’ll work alongside experienced teams and a dedicated Lead Tech. Expand your professional portfolio through varied case types, advanced procedural techniques, and exposure to the latest in cardiac and vascular intervention. You’ll contribute to a STEMI receiving facility recognized for managing a high volume and complex mix of cases including cardiac, vascular, peripheral, and neuro interventions.

Schedule/Hours:

• Call rotation for inpatient/emergent cases: 1x per week
• Weekend call requirement: 1 weekend/month (Friday evening through Monday morning; subject to change based on unit needs)

Desired Qualifications:

• ARRT, Fluoro, and BLS certifications (RCIS or CCT credentials not accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of current cath lab experience—no first-time travelers
• Experience in conscious/moderate sedation, airway management, cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors), and balloon pumps
• Comfort with a dual-tech workflow (scrub and monitor roles) and RN collaboration
• Ability to adapt to varied shifts and call schedules in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and monitor hemodynamics during diverse interventional cases
• Assist with airway management and moderate sedation as needed
• Rotate through 5 suites (coronary, peripheral, vascular/neuro, EP)
• Ensure adherence to procedural and safety protocols
• Collaborate with cath lab and nursing team in patient-centered care
