This travel position presents an exciting chance to work in a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab, responsible for the safe operation of fluoroscopic and radiographic equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver care for cardiac catheterization patients, recognizing and managing medications and lab values relevant to procedures
- Accurately document all procedural and patient information in medical records
- Analyze hemodynamic waveforms, monitor and report patient status during procedures
- Set up and assist during invasive procedures while maintaining strict sterile technique
- Manage and dispose of biohazardous materials appropriately
- Support physicians and RNs in emergency and code situations, including medication administration
- Ensure meticulous adherence to radiation safety standards
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech or similar imaging role
- Proficiency with cardiac cath procedures for adult and geriatric populations
- Strong teamwork, communication, and quick-thinking abilities
- Certification as required by state or national guidelines
