Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Fairfax, Virginia

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Cath Lab Tech with strong imaging skills to support a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are passionate about patient care and thrive in fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab settings.

Key Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or clinical environment
• Proficiency with imaging technology and equipment used in catheterization procedures
• Understanding of sterile techniques, radiology safety, and contrast administration protocols
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• ARRT certification and/or RCIS certification preferred
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; document and report changes as needed
• Ensure optimal imaging quality while maintaining radiation safety and patient comfort
• Maintain cath lab supplies and ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and disinfected
• Support case preparation, room turnover, and restocking of supplies
• Adhere to best practices and hospital policies to ensure patient safety

$2,416 - $2,556/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
