As a Cath Lab Tech, you'll thrive in a busy Level III Cardiac Cath Lab featuring advanced technical capabilities and a high volume of cases—10 or more daily—across three modern procedure rooms. This setting will expose you to a comprehensive mix of procedures, including structural heart, left heart, peripheral vascular, ECMO, Impella, and more, allowing you to collaborate with seasoned professionals and observe a variety of leadership styles and clinical protocols. Gain hands-on experience with electrophysiology studies and ablation procedures, ensuring every day brings unique challenges and invaluable learning opportunities.
Schedule:
- 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (4 x 10-hour days, no block scheduling)
- Call: 1 night a week (5:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) and approximately every fourth weekend (Friday 5:00 p.m. – Monday 7:30 a.m.)
Key Qualifications:
- ARRT required; RCIS, Radiology Tech, or completion of accredited Electrophysiology program
- 1+ years with complex cardiac procedures, including scrubbing, running II, and operating Fluoro
- Analytical strengths for assessing cardiac status and interpreting ECGs
- Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment operation and maintenance
- Excellent interpersonal and patient-care skills
- Ability to administer medications and calculate dosages
- Physical capability for patient positioning and lifting
- PPE compliance including use of lead aprons and thyroid shields
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required

- Ensure lab safety and efficient workflow
- Support accurate supply management and procedure documentation
