Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Falls Church, Virginia

Seeking an experienced professional to provide critical support in a dynamic Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment. This contract position offers an opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or related imaging credentials
• Hands-on experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab preferred
• Proficient in performing and assisting with interventional cardiac and vascular procedures
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging equipment
• Ability to adhere strictly to sterile techniques and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract schedule with potential for variable shifts, including days, evenings, or weekends as required by department needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare, operate, and maintain cath lab imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures such as angiograms, angioplasty, and device implantations
• Monitor patient vital signs, document procedural details, and ensure safety at all stages
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nursing staff, technologists, and physicians to optimize patient care
• Participate in emergency response protocols when needed
• Support ongoing equipment maintenance and inventory management
