Cath Lab Technologist in Fenton, MI

Take your expertise in cardiovascular procedures to the next level by supporting a busy cath/EP lab team on a 13-week contract. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of advanced heart and vascular cases, collaborating with professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

• Full-time weekdays, 6:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• One variable weekday off each week
• On-call required: One weekend per month (Friday 5:00 p.m.–Monday 6:30 a.m.) and four weeknights per month (5:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m. the next day)
• No additional weekend commitment beyond scheduled on-call

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 1–2 years of direct cath/EP lab experience
• Proficiency scrubbing for heart catheterizations, peripheral vascular cases, structural heart interventions, and EP procedures
• Knowledge of Merge Hemo documentation system is highly valued
• Preferred credentials: RCIS or RCES; ARRT with relevant scrub experience also considered
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub for a diverse range of complex cardiovascular and electrophysiology cases
• Handle both independent and team-based tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain detailed procedural documentation, preferably using the Merge Hemo system
• Adhere to rigorous patient safety and infection control protocols throughout all procedures
• Participate in on-call shifts, providing expert support during urgent cases

$2,541 - $2,688/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
