Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Fredericksburg, Texas

An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to provide advanced imaging support in a dynamic cath lab suite supporting cardiac, vascular, and radiology physicians. This role involves direct collaboration with physicians, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other allied health professionals, all working together to achieve the best patient outcomes.

Schedule:

• Day shift
• No holiday coverage required

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Demonstrated background in imaging, particularly with interventional procedures
• Active Medical Radiologic Technologist license (State of Texas)
• Current ARRT Radiology Certification
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and adapt to evolving patient needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all procedures within the cath lab, ensuring precise imaging and patient safety throughout
• Provide technical assistance to physicians during cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology procedures
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, anesthesia providers, and other specialists in the lab
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as necessary to ensure accurate results and minimal downtime
• Adhere to all safety standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements
