Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification or equivalent in radiologic technology
  • Valid and current state licensure as required
  • Minimum of one year of recent Cath Lab experience
  • Strong knowledge of cardiac imaging procedures and equipment
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patient vital signs and assist with patient positioning
  • Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during procedures
  • Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and complies with safety standards
  • Document procedure details and maintain accurate patient records
  • Provide high-quality imaging results to support optimal patient care
  • Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols
