Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Freehold, New Jersey

Schedule & Hours:

• Day shift: 7:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Four 10-hour shifts weekly (40 hours/week)
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Holiday coverage required: one summer and one winter holiday
• On-call rotation: 7–10 shifts required during contract

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Experience with permanent pacemaker placement preferred
• Proficiency in Impella and balloon pump usage required
• Mac Lab and EPIC experience preferred
• Active BLS and Radiology certification required
• Comfortable wearing green scrub color
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs., push/pull 100 lbs., and stand for extended periods

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during a variety of procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, atherectomies, device placements, and advanced interventional techniques
• Prepare sterile trays, patient monitors, and equipment for each case
• Oversee calibration and operation of digital imaging and hemodynamic systems
• Load/operate power injectors and maintain proper image record storage
• Support patients during emergencies and assist with sheath removal and vascular closure devices
• Collaborate closely with nurses, providing hands-on assistance pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members, tailoring care to cultural and individual needs
• Participate in equipment maintenance, inventory management, and standard compliance across all job functions
