Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Gary, Indiana

Step into a vital Imaging role as a Cath Lab Tech, collaborating within a dedicated Cardiac Cath Lab team. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment, supporting both outpatient and inpatient procedures, along with emergent cases. With a focus on state-of-the-art cardiovascular care, you'll play a pivotal part in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Schedule & Hours:

• Day shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or 10-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., four days per week
• Guaranteed 40 hours weekly
• On-call and holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as a Cath Lab Tech
• Active Radiologic Technology state license
• ARRT certification
• Valid BLS certification
• EKG test required prior to submission
• Willingness to undergo orientation and complete required EPIC cupid modules
• Team player with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Ability to float to nearby Munster Cath Lab if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in a 2-bed lab, maintaining a 1:1 patient-to-tech ratio
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals while ensuring optimal patient outcomes
• Manage equipment and maintain a sterile, safe work environment
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records using EMR systems
• Participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled
