Cath Lab Technologist in Gary, IN

Step into a dynamic Cath Lab environment supporting both inpatient and outpatient cardiac procedures and emergent cases. This opportunity offers a collaborative, team-focused atmosphere and exposure to advanced imaging technology.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or four 10-hour days, 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
• 40 hours guaranteed weekly
• On-call and some holiday coverage required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cath Lab Tech
• Active Rad Tech State Licensure
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification required
• Strong orientation toward teamwork and effective communication
• Willingness to float to other local Cath Lab facilities if needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate cath lab imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and technologists to provide safe and efficient patient care
• Ensure accurate documentation in EPIC Cupid EMR
• Maintain scrupulous attention to sterile techniques and safety standards
• Adapt to both procedural and emergency cardiac cases involving varied patient populations
