Schedule:
- 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- 07:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Two weekend shifts per month, with 1-2 call nights weekly
- On-call and call back requirements: two weekends and two weekdays per month, further details discussed during interview
- One holiday shift per contract, if applicable
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with proficiency in cardiac imaging procedures
- Strong technical skills operating and troubleshooting cath lab imaging equipment
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and safety protocols in interventional environments
- Valid credentials and current certification as a Cath Lab Tech
- Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure, especially during emergent situations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures, including preparation, imaging, and documentation
- Operate imaging equipment to support diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and comfort, providing high-quality care throughout procedures
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety
- Adhere to all infection control and regulatory standards within the lab
- Accurately document procedure details and patient records
- Contribute to a safe, respectful environment for patients and colleagues
