Desired Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist (ARDMS, RCIS, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in imaging procedures specific to the Cath Lab environment
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and interventional techniques
- Proficiency with advanced Cath Lab imaging equipment and safety protocols
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail in high-acuity settings
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain Cath Lab imaging equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and adherence to safety standards
- Monitor patient status, report changes, and document procedural details accurately
- Maintain inventory of supplies and ensure equipment calibration and readiness
