Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist with a solid understanding of imaging technology in a hospital or clinical cath lab setting
  • ARRT or equivalent certification in Radiologic Technology required
  • Active and unrestricted state license
  • Strong proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced imaging equipment specific to cardiac catheterization
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in high-pressure situations

Schedule/Hours:

  • Specific schedule and shift details provided during the interview process

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Assist physicians with the execution of diagnostic and interventional procedures by providing detailed images and technical guidance
  • Monitor and record patient vitals during procedures and report abnormalities promptly
  • Maintain accurate and thorough case documentation and patient records
  • Perform pre- and post-procedure patient assessments and assist with patient positioning
  • Follow strict protocols for infection control and equipment sterilization
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
