Join a progressive cardiac catheterization lab delivering advanced care through diagnostic and interventional procedures in a dynamic hospital environment. As a skilled Cath Lab Tech, you'll collaborate with a highly efficient Code STEMI team utilizing state-of-the-art equipment for cardiovascular, peripheral, vascular, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) cases.
Schedule & Hours:
- Day shift: 5x8-Hour (06:45 – 15:15)
- 5 days/week, 8–10 hour shifts
- Weekend coverage: Every other weekend
- Call rotation: Up to 3 times/week with 30-minute response required; every other weekend with additional weekday call rotation
Qualifications:
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license available; must apply within 48 hours of accepting)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab (not accepting first-time travelers)
- Demonstrated expertise in embolizations, coiling, ablations, and device implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
- Skilled in utilizing Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser systems, and thrombectomy devices
- Extensive experience with STEMI care and proficiency in FTB/DTB times under 60 minutes
- Competence in peripheral and EP procedures
Responsibilities:
- Perform independently across all CCL cases, maintaining a strong patient-first approach
- Provide coverage for both scheduled shifts and call duties as required
- Support colleagues by sharing clinical expertise and fostering a collaborative work culture
- Document procedures accurately using EPIC/Cupid systems
- Adhere to all emergency protocols, including possible assignment to Emergency Teams during facility events
