Bring your expertise in cardiovascular imaging to a dynamic Cath Lab environment, supporting complex procedures in a high-performing, technologically advanced facility. This contract position demands confidence, adaptability, and proven technical skill in a fast-paced setting where collaboration and patient care are at the core of every day.
Schedule:
- Day shift: 5x8-hour shifts, 06:45 – 15:15
- Coverage required five days per week, based on department staffing
- Every other weekend rotation
- On-call obligations: Up to 3 times/week, every other weekend with weekday call rotation; must be able to respond within 30 minutes
Qualifications:
- Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT(R), and LSRTBE state license (temporary license available in 14 days; apply within 48 hours of acceptance)
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Cath Lab setting (no first-time travelers)
- Expertise in embolization, coiling, ablations, and device implants (ports, pacemakers, ICDs)
- Proficient with Impella, IABP, IVUS, Shockwave, Rotoblator, laser, and thrombectomy platforms
- Capable of both peripheral and electrophysiology procedures
- Experience with STEMI care, meeting FTB/DTB < 60 minutes
- Must work independently and demonstrate leadership in sharing expertise
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a daily census of ~6 patients in a comprehensive cardiac, vascular, and EP/IR lab
- Confidently assist or lead a full array of complex procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Foster a collaborative environment, sharing knowledge and supporting peers
- Fulfill emergency assignments, following direction from management during critical events
