Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Cath Lab Tech or previous experience in a similar imaging role
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced imaging equipment in a cardiac catheterization lab
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, radiation safety, and patient positioning
• Ability to perform under pressure in urgent or emergent situations with a professional, team-oriented approach
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, nurses, and physicians
• BLS/ACLS certification (preferred or required, as applies)
• Attention to detail in maintaining accurate patient records and equipment logs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Prepare the cath lab, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterilized and ready for use
• Monitor and document patient information consistently throughout procedures
• Position patients appropriately and ensure their safety and comfort at all times
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed
• Adhere strictly to all infection control protocols and safety standards
• Provide clear communication and support for patients and healthcare team members during procedures
