Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
- Prior experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting is highly preferred
- Proficiency operating and maintaining X-ray, fluoroscopy, and IR imaging equipment
- Familiarity with sterile technique, radiologic safety standards, and contrast administration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment
- BLS and other advanced life support certifications, as required
Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time contract; specific schedule details provided during interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and calibrate imaging equipment for a wide range of cardiac catheterization, angiography, and interventional radiology procedures
- Assist the interventional team during diagnostic and therapeutic cases, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring high image quality
- Perform and document pre-procedure and post-procedure patient assessments
- Apply radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self at all times
- Troubleshoot technical equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed
- Contribute to a culture of safety and high-quality patient care
