Cath Lab Technologist in Groton, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required
• Prior experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting is highly preferred
• Proficiency operating and maintaining X-ray, fluoroscopy, and IR imaging equipment
• Familiarity with sterile technique, radiologic safety standards, and contrast administration
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to interact effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment
• BLS and other advanced life support certifications, as required

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract; specific schedule details provided during interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and calibrate imaging equipment for a wide range of cardiac catheterization, angiography, and interventional radiology procedures
• Assist the interventional team during diagnostic and therapeutic cases, maintaining a sterile field and ensuring high image quality
• Perform and document pre-procedure and post-procedure patient assessments
• Apply radiation safety protocols for patients, staff, and self at all times
• Troubleshoot technical equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Contribute to a culture of safety and high-quality patient care
