An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures. This contract position spans 17 weeks and plays a key role in supporting patient care within a dynamic cardiac cath lab environment.

Schedule:

  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM shifts
  • On-call rotation every third weekend
  • Two additional on-call weekdays per week, scheduled as needed by the unit

Required Qualifications:

  • Certification as RT(R) or RCIS
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, with strong skills in imaging and invasive cardiac procedures
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals during procedures
  • Adhere to rigorous safety and infection control guidelines
  • Prepare and maintain the cath lab, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the highest standard of patient care
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent situations
  • Document and report all procedures and patient responses accurately
