Take on a pivotal role as an Invasive Technologist in a dynamic Cardiac Cath Lab setting. This rewarding contract assignment spans 17 weeks and involves advanced imaging and technical expertise in a fast-paced environment. Deliver top-quality patient care alongside a dedicated cardiovascular team.
Schedule:
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shift
- On-call rotation based on unit needs: every other weekend and every third weekend
- Two additional on-call days during the week
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and invasive cardiac procedures
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Current RT(R) or RCIS credential
- Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex imaging and monitoring equipment
- Prepare sterile tables and maintain proper aseptic technique throughout procedures
- Monitor patient condition and assist with emergency interventions as needed
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information
- Safely handle imaging contrast and other related materials
- Contribute positively to the team’s response to on-call demands
