Step into a rewarding opportunity specializing in cardiovascular imaging as part of a dedicated Cath Lab team. This contract position focuses on providing exceptional support within a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Schedule:

  • 6:30am to 5:00pm shifts
  • Assigned late days during the week
  • No weekends or holidays required

Required Qualifications:

  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification or current RT(R) (Radiologic Technologist – Radiography)
  • Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Proven experience in a Cath Lab setting, performing both routine and complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, radiographic imaging equipment, and sterile technique
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterizations and interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interventional team to ensure optimal procedural outcomes
  • Monitor patients’ condition throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in accordance with healthcare standards
  • Adhere to strict protocols for patient safety, radiation exposure, and infection control
  • Support setup, turnover, and supply management for the Cath Lab
