Step into a rewarding opportunity specializing in cardiovascular imaging as part of a dedicated Cath Lab team. This contract position focuses on providing exceptional support within a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring high-quality patient care during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Schedule:
- 6:30am to 5:00pm shifts
- Assigned late days during the week
- No weekends or holidays required
Required Qualifications:
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification or current RT(R) (Radiologic Technologist – Radiography)
- Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Proven experience in a Cath Lab setting, performing both routine and complex diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, radiographic imaging equipment, and sterile technique
- Ability to work collaboratively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging and monitoring equipment during cardiac catheterizations and interventions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interventional team to ensure optimal procedural outcomes
- Monitor patients’ condition throughout procedures and respond promptly to changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in accordance with healthcare standards
- Adhere to strict protocols for patient safety, radiation exposure, and infection control
- Support setup, turnover, and supply management for the Cath Lab
