Cath Lab Technologist - Hedgesville, WV

Step into a fast-paced, dynamic environment supporting a modern Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology unit. This contract opportunity is ideal for talented techs driven to deliver exceptional care and flexibility within cardiovascular and IR procedures. A variety of professionals will be considered, including Cath Lab Techs, CV Techs, EP Techs, and Vascular IR Techs.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts each week (Monday – Friday, 07:00–15:30)
• Call requirement: 10–11 shifts per month, including weekends (response time 30 min, 07:00–07:00)
• Opportunity to float to Non-Invasive CV for IV starts

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least two years’ recent experience in a Cath Lab setting
• CV Invasive Radiology Techs: BLS, ACLS, valid WV license, and ARRT (RCIS not accepted per regulations)
• Familiarity and skill with IABP and IVUS
• Unexpired driver's license required (candidates must live over 50 miles from facility)
• Comfort working in both scrub and monitor roles
• Willingness to care exclusively for adult cardiac cases (including PCI, ICD, pacers)

Preferred Attributes:

• Prior experience with Acist injector (preferred, but not required—training provided on site)
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to 3-person cardiac teams and step up as needed
• Reliable under pressure, able to prioritize in a busy environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with RNs and other professionals to carry out cath lab and interventional procedures
• Rotate on call as part of a cohesive team, supporting cardiac emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation in both Epic (Cupid) and Xper systems
• Participate in a structured orientation with preceptors, including buddy call training

$3,388 - $3,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
