Schedule:
- Day shift; evening and weekend call required
Qualifications:
- Current certification in ACLS and BLS
- Either a Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Tech qualification
- Prior experience in a cath lab or interventional setting strongly preferred
- Proficiency with imaging equipment such as MacLab, GE, and Philips systems
- Experience with Meditech documentation systems a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a diverse team
- Compassionate patient care with strong critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and team members during catheterization, interventional coronary cases, structural heart procedures, and EP studies
- Perform peripheral interventions and other specialized imaging procedures
- Prepare and monitor patients through diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and patient safety
- Accurately document patient data and procedural details in the Meditech system
- Adhere to established protocols for infection control and safety
- Demonstrate adaptability and calm under pressure during emergent cases
- Participate in call rotation for evenings and weekends as required
