Cath Lab Technologist in Hialeah, FL

Schedule & Hours:

• Day shift assignments; be prepared for evening and weekend call responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required
• Credentialed as a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist
• Direct experience performing procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, interventional coronary cases, structural heart interventions, and peripheral/peripheral interventions
• Familiarity with advanced imaging equipment, including MacLab, GE, and Philips systems
• Comfortable using Meditech documentation system
• Demonstrated ability to function well both independently and as a collaborative team member
• Strong critical thinking skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Previous experience in similar fast-paced, high-acuity settings is advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate advanced imaging and cath lab equipment for a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Accurately document patient information and procedural data using Meditech
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver optimal patient care
• Adhere to all facility protocols, including use of provided OR scrubs and infection control procedures
• Participate in call rotation, including evenings and weekends, as scheduled

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
