Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist, and current registration with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech within an imaging services setting
• Working knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and imaging technologies
• Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy, x-ray, and angiographic equipment
• Familiarity with sterile technique and radiation safety standards
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while providing updates and reassurance
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment with adherence to best practices and protocols
• Monitor patient status throughout the procedure, responding promptly to changes or emergencies
• Document all procedures, images, and patient data accurately in electronic medical records
• Maintain a sterile field and uphold infection prevention protocols at all times
• Support other members of the Cath Lab team to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care
