Cath Lab Technologist - Hollywood, FL

Advance patient care in a dynamic cardiac catheterization laboratory by applying your skills as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity leverages your expertise and attention to detail to support innovative procedures and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with a wide range of Cath Lab procedures including diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional coronary cases, structural heart procedures, and peripheral interventions
• Prepare and operate a variety of imaging equipment such as MacLab, GE, and Philips systems, ensuring image quality and compliance with safety protocols
• Collaborate with a close-knit team of CVTs, radiology technologists, and physicians to maintain a 3:1 patient ratio
• Accurately document procedures and interventions using the Meditech system
• Remain responsive to call requirements during evenings and weekends as needed to meet patient care needs
• Adhere to hospital protocols, maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times

Hours & Schedule:

• Day shift (all day staff)
• Evening and weekend call rotation

Qualifications:

• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Radiology Technologist credentials
• Demonstrated experience in cardiac and interventional radiology procedures
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, work independently, and think critically
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
