Step into a dynamic cardiac and vascular care environment as a Cath Lab Tech, contributing specialized imaging skills within a renowned teaching and trauma center. This contract opportunity offers immersive experience alongside leading cardiac specialists and access to the latest technology in a collaborative, high-acuity setting.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Four 10-hour day shifts (0730 - 1800)
  • Schedule cycles every 4 weeks
  • On-call and weekend rotations as discussed in interviews
  • Must reside at least 50 miles from unit

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • ARRT-R or RCIS required
  • Must have peripheral angiogram/run-off experience
  • Willingness to learn advanced vascular procedures if not already experienced
  • Highly preferred: Experience in interventional radiology or vascular surgery labs
  • Open to first-time travelers

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures, including STEMI, NON-STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, EVAR, TEVAR, and angiograms
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including a dedicated ECMO unit, VAD specialists, code teams, and registered nurses
  • Operate state-of-the-art equipment: Philips, GE, Siemens imaging, EPIC EMR, Merge Hemo, Omnicell
  • Maintain strict adherence to patient safety and infection control standards
  • Participate in tailored orientation and departmental training sessions
  • Support seamless traffic flow and case scheduling under departmental guidance
  • Flex with on-call and holiday coverage as required
