Step into a dynamic cardiac and vascular imaging environment where your expertise in Cath Lab procedures truly matters. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about advanced cardiac care, who thrive in a collaborative, high-acuity teaching hospital setting.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour daytime shifts weekly (0730-1800)
  • On-call and weekend rotation as required (details discussed in interview)
  • Contract requires covering at least one holiday if applicable

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
  • Hands-on peripheral angiogram/run-off experience essential; preference given for proficiency with endografts, EVARs, TEVARs (training can be provided for candidates eager to learn)
  • National certification: ARRT-R or RCIS
  • Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience with IR or working alongside vascular surgeons highly valued
  • Open to first-time travelers ready to advance their skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in both cardiac and vascular cases (patient populations include NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, lower extremity angiograms, EVAR, and TEVAR)
  • Operate and document within modern equipment systems: Philips, GE, Siemens X-ray, Philips Monitors, Merge Hemo, Alaris, Omnicell, ISCV PACs, and Epic EMR
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a well-resourced clinical support team, including a traffic flow coordinator, charge nurse, RT, VAD, ECMO, and code teams
  • Adhere to established protocols for on-call/holiday rotation and rapid response expectations
