Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Tech, with proficiency in imaging procedures specific to catheterization labs
• ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent certification (as required by state or facility standards)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong understanding of sterile technique, contrast media, and patient safety protocols
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt quickly to evolving clinical situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout
• Monitor patient status, vital signs, and procedure progress; alerting physicians to changes as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation according to facility policies
• Ensure proper functioning of imaging and cath lab equipment, reporting issues promptly
• Adhere strictly to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate seamless patient care
