Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Tech (ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent)
- Experience performing imaging procedures in a cath lab environment
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and catheterization procedures
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and emergent situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment to assist physicians during cath lab procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs and status before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere strictly to infection control protocols
- Document all procedures and patient interactions accurately and promptly
- Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care
- Ensure equipment is functioning optimally and troubleshoot any technical issues
- Support the clinical team in all aspects of procedure room management
