Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist (ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent) required
  • Demonstrated experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting
  • Proficient with imaging equipment, including operation and troubleshooting
  • Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and cath lab procedures
  • Ability to assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for physician assessment
  • Monitor and document patient vitals and progress throughout procedures
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere strictly to infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for optimal patient outcomes
  • Manage patient data entry and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, setup, and inventory management
  • Deliver compassionate care, providing support and information to patients and families
