Qualifications and Experience:
- Current registration as a Cath Lab Technologist (ARRT, RCIS, or equivalent) required
- Demonstrated experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory setting
- Proficient with imaging equipment, including operation and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and cath lab procedures
- Ability to assist with invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for physician assessment
- Monitor and document patient vitals and progress throughout procedures
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere strictly to infection control protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff for optimal patient outcomes
- Manage patient data entry and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Assist with equipment maintenance, setup, and inventory management
- Deliver compassionate care, providing support and information to patients and families
