Key Qualifications:

  • Accredited training in Imaging Technology or related discipline.
  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory environment.
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and assisting with interventional cardiac procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, and monitoring technology.
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills.
  • Ability to respond quickly in urgent situations and adapt to changing priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging systems during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
  • Accurately follow physician directions and support patient positioning and preparation.
  • Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures and communicate changes to the clinical team.
  • Ensure bridging between imaging requirements and procedural needs for optimum care.
  • Adhere to strict infection control and quality assurance protocols.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient and procedure documentation.
  • Participate actively in Cath Lab readiness, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with cardiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff.
