Key Qualifications:
- Accredited training in Imaging Technology or related discipline.
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Demonstrated experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory environment.
- Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and assisting with interventional cardiac procedures.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, and monitoring technology.
- Exceptional teamwork, communication, and patient interaction skills.
- Ability to respond quickly in urgent situations and adapt to changing priorities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging systems during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.
- Accurately follow physician directions and support patient positioning and preparation.
- Monitor patient vital signs throughout procedures and communicate changes to the clinical team.
- Ensure bridging between imaging requirements and procedural needs for optimum care.
- Adhere to strict infection control and quality assurance protocols.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient and procedure documentation.
- Participate actively in Cath Lab readiness, troubleshooting equipment, and collaborating with cardiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff.
