Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified Cath Lab Technologist, with documented experience in a hospital or clinical catheterization laboratory
- Demonstrated proficiency with imaging equipment and Cath Lab procedures
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and relevant procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging and interventional equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures
- Assist physicians during catheterization, angioplasty, and stenting, ensuring adherence to sterile technique and patient safety protocols
- Monitor patient status and vital signs before, during, and after procedures, responding quickly to any urgent changes
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation and assist with post-procedural patient care instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and regulatory compliance within the Cath Lab
