Qualifications and Experience:

  • ARRT (R) or equivalent registration required
  • State radiologic technologist license, if applicable
  • Prior experience working in a cardiac catheterization laboratory preferred
  • Proficiency with angiographic and imaging equipment
  • Comfortable assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Strong sterile technique and experience in a surgical or procedural suite
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate imaging equipment during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other vascular procedures
  • Prepare and position patients for studies, ensuring optimal image capture and patient safety
  • Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and report any concerns to the team
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety policies
  • Document all required information accurately in patient records and departmental logs
  • Assist with inventory management and maintaining a clean, organized work area
