Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent)
  • Proven recent experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory settings
  • Proficiency with imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
  • Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile procedures
  • Ability to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and document patient vitals and procedure details accurately
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and sterile techniques within the lab
  • Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance
  • Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Accurately process, archive, and label images, ensuring timely availability for clinical review
