Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent)
- Proven recent experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory settings
- Proficiency with imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile procedures
- Ability to assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient vitals and procedure details accurately
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and sterile techniques within the lab
- Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures
- Accurately process, archive, and label images, ensuring timely availability for clinical review
