Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist required (RCIS or ARRT preferred)
  • Previous hands-on experience in a hospital cath lab or cardiac interventional setting
  • Proficient with a range of imaging equipment and techniques, including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
  • In-depth knowledge of sterile technique, vascular access, and circulatory system anatomy
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong organizational skills and precise attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities with an interdisciplinary care team

Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex imaging procedures for cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions
  • Prepare, operate, and maintain cath lab equipment in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Aid physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, and other specialized procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring safety and readiness
  • Accurately document procedures, patient data, and equipment usage in electronic health records
  • Maintain a sterile work environment and uphold infection control protocols at all times
