Schedule
- 4x10 hour shifts per week
- Some on-call duties required
Key Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech in an imaging environment
- Valid RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification accepted
- Demonstrated expertise in sterile technique, cardiovascular imaging, and interventional procedures
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Candidates cannot reside in Broward, Dade, or Palm Beach counties
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with cardiac catheterization and other interventional radiology procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and optimal image quality
- Monitor patient vital signs and procedural data during interventions
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to all infection prevention protocols
- Document procedure steps, patient information, and equipment usage accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to ensure procedural success
- Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
