An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with experience in Imaging, specifically as a Cath Lab Tech. The position offers a contract assignment within a dynamic healthcare environment, working with advanced imaging technologies to support patient care and critical diagnostic procedures.
Key Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related imaging field
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent state licensure required
- Proven clinical experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or medical facility setting
- Advanced proficiency in imaging procedures for cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology
- Solid knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and patient monitoring during procedures
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
- Assist cardiologists and medical teams in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
- Monitor patient status, provide reassurance, and communicate effectively with patients and families
- Maintain thorough, accurate procedure documentation and patient records
- Ensure imaging equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and complies with safety standards
- Adhere strictly to infection control, radiation protection, and organizational protocols
