Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Lakewood, New Jersey

An opportunity is available for a skilled professional with experience in Imaging, specifically as a Cath Lab Tech. The position offers a contract assignment within a dynamic healthcare environment, working with advanced imaging technologies to support patient care and critical diagnostic procedures.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or related imaging field
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent state licensure required
• Proven clinical experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or medical facility setting
• Advanced proficiency in imaging procedures for cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology
• Solid knowledge of sterile techniques, radiation safety, and patient monitoring during procedures
• Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate specialized imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
• Assist cardiologists and medical teams in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient status, provide reassurance, and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Maintain thorough, accurate procedure documentation and patient records
• Ensure imaging equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and complies with safety standards
• Adhere strictly to infection control, radiation protection, and organizational protocols
