As a crucial member of the Imaging team specializing in Cath Lab procedures, you’ll play an instrumental role assisting with a wide range of interventions—from Cardiac Catheterizations and Angioplasties to advanced procedures like Rotablator and intra-vascular ultrasounds. Your contributions directly impact patient outcomes while also expanding your professional expertise and making your resume stand out for future opportunities.
Key Requirements:
- Formal training in Cardiovascular Technology or a related specialty (required certification/licensure as applicable)
- Familiarity with procedures such as Atherectomy, TEC, Valvuloplasty, and pulmonary angiograms
- Ability to maintain composure and attention to detail during complex and emergency procedures
- Knowledge of digital cine technology protocols, including storage, retrieval, and secure image management
- Able to lift 40 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., and stand for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and adaptability skills—especially in diverse and patient-centered settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for complex cath lab procedures
- Assist physicians and nurses throughout diagnostics and interventions
- Ensure precise handling and operation of transducers, power injectors, and closure devices
- Maintain accurate image records and contribute to efficient inventory management
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort, adapting care to specific patient needs
