This assignment is an excellent chance to elevate your expertise in a high-volume STEMI receiving facility. You’ll collaborate with a multifaceted team—consisting of techs, RNs, and a Lead Tech—across five specialized suites handling coronary, vascular, peripheral, neuro, and EP cases. The dynamic pace and structure will expose you to diverse clinical scenarios, enhance your procedural proficiency, and allow you to learn nuanced leadership and workflow strategies from seasoned staff.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Rotating call: Weeknights, once per week
  • Weekend call: One weekend per month (Friday evening through Monday morning; subject to unit needs)

Required Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT, Fluoro, and BLS certifications (RCIS and CCT not accepted)
  • Demonstrated, recent experience in a cath lab environment
  • Competency with all aspects of conscious & moderate sedation, airway management, and cardiac drips (Integrilin, dopamine, vasopressors)
  • Proven skill with balloon pumps
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in fast-paced settings

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assist during a variety of cases: coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR, and neuro intervention
  • Perform both scrub and monitoring duties alongside other techs and RNs
  • Adapt to variable case volumes (10-22 cases daily across five suites)
  • Rotate through call assignments, supporting inpatient and emergent care
