Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cath lab equipment and ensure room readiness for all scheduled procedures
- Provide technical support for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accurate image acquisition and patient safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to facilitate seamless patient care
- Monitor vital signs, assist with patient positioning, and document procedural details precisely
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements, protocols, and policies regarding radiation safety and infection control
- Provide compassionate support and clear communication to patients before, during, and after procedures
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
- Current licensure or registry (ARRT or RCIS)
- Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or in a similar imaging role
- Thorough understanding of imaging protocols for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
