Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Cath Lab Tech in a hospital or medical environment
  • Proficiency in imaging equipment, angiographic procedures, and fluoroscopy use
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology, and interventional techniques
  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology (RT(R)) or equivalent, with ARRT or RCIS preferred
  • Valid BLS certification; ACLS certification is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and critical-thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain specialized cath lab imaging equipment with a focus on quality and patient safety
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining steps, monitoring vital signs, and assisting physicians throughout cases
  • Capture and analyze high-quality diagnostic images during interventional cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures
  • Maintain sterile fields and adhere to rigorous infection control protocols
  • Participate in on-call rotations and respond swiftly in urgent cardiovascular events
  • Accurately document all procedures and patient data per regulatory and hospital standards
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists for optimal patient care
