Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified and registered as a Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT or RCIS credentials
• Minimum one year of experience in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Proficiency in operating imaging and monitoring equipment used during cardiac cath procedures
• Thorough understanding of sterile technique, radiation safety, and emergency protocols
• Ability to interpret EKG rhythms and recognize hemodynamic changes
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, assist, and monitor patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
• Operate imaging systems to produce high-quality diagnostic images during angiograms, stent placements, and other procedures
• Maintain accurate records and document patient information, procedural details, and equipment usage in adherence with regulations
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless workflow and excellent patient outcomes
• Perform required pre- and post-procedural patient care, including monitoring vital signs and providing patient education
• Ensure all equipment is properly set up, calibrated, and sanitized before and after procedures
