A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled technologist specializing in imaging—Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology procedures. This contract role is vital to the efficient operation of a busy Cath Lab that performs both cardiology and a significant volume of radiology cases.
Schedule & Assignment Details:
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- 13-week contract assignment
- 1-2 on-call nights weekly
- On-call every 3rd or 4th weekend
Qualifications & Experience:
- ARRT certification is required
- Proven experience in Cath Lab as well as Interventional Radiology (IR) settings
- Recent EP (Electrophysiology) experience
- Proficient in both scrub and monitoring roles for devices and ablations
- Ability to handle dedicated Radiology cases (40% of the department’s workload, including on-call)
- Completion/ability to provide an IR skills checklist
- Candidates must be willing and able to work both IR and cardiology cases as needed
- Applications from local candidates (within 50 miles) will not be considered
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in Cath Lab and IR procedures, including the use of advanced medical equipment
- Actively participate in monitoring, scrubbing, and supporting electrophysiology and ablation cases
- Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless and safe patient care
- Provide skilled care during on-call shifts, both weekday nights and select weekends
- Maintain compliance with strict industry and facility safety standards
