Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Martinsburg, West Virginia

Step into a highly skilled clinical setting specializing in advanced cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where you’ll be an essential member of a collaborative Cath Lab & IR team comprised of RNs and technologists—all dedicated to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• 10–11 on-call shifts per month, including weekends
• Shifts: Monday through Friday, 0700–1530
• Weekend and holiday on-call requirement: 0700-0700

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two years’ experience in a Cath Lab setting
• Valid, unexpired driver’s license required (must be attached to profile)
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Required certification/licensure:
  • CV Invasive Rad Techs: Active WV license, ARRT, BLS, ACLS (RCIS not accepted—must be Radiologic Technologist due to state x-ray equipment regulations)
• Experience with IABP and IVUS is required
• Comfortable working within a three-person Cath Lab/IR team
• Familiarity with Acist injector is a plus (can be trained onsite)
• Open to candidates with previous experience as Cath Lab Tech, CV Tech, EP Tech, or Vascular IR Tech

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and monitor diverse cardiac and vascular procedures
• Collaborate with charge nurses and resource nurses to ensure optimal workflow
• Assist with IV starts and float to Non-Invasive CV as needed
• Participate in orientation and "buddy call" process for smooth integration
• Handle average daily case load (2–9 cases, with 4–5 being typical)

$3,388 - $3,584/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
