Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - Martinsburg, West Virginia

An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Cath Lab Tech to support a dynamic imaging team. This contract opening is ideal for experienced professionals seeking to work a consistent weekly schedule in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. The role specifically focuses on EP tech responsibilities, providing essential support for cardiac procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Includes 10–11 on-call shifts per month, covering weekends

Key Qualifications:

• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT (R) verification
• Open to CV Techs, Cath Lab Techs, EP Techs, and Vascular IR Techs
• Direct experience with IABP and IVUS required
• Willingness to learn Acist injectr (training provided if not familiar)
• Experience with ICDs, pacemakers (no ablation duties)
• Comfortable with both routine and urgent cardiac procedures

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during EP and cath lab procedures, including device implantations (ICDs, pacemakers) and vascular interventions
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging and monitoring equipment
• Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes during procedures
• Document all procedures thoroughly and accurately
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to urgent cases as needed
