This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a state-of-the-art Cardiac Cath Lab, supporting a reputable hospital known for exceptional patient outcomes and a collaborative clinical team.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- STEMI Call rotation approximately 10–12 days per month
- Self-scheduling
Qualifications:
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Extensive Cath Lab experience, including Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR
- Proficiency with procedures such as PCI, PFO, TAVR, Atherectomy, R/LHC, DCCV, TEE, Impella/IABP
- Hands-on familiarity with GE Innova equipment, MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
- Previous experience in fast-paced acute care settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate Cath Lab equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Assist cardiologists and the cardiac team in a 7-bed holding area, ensuring optimal patient ratios and seamless interdisciplinary care
- Adhere to hospital protocols and dress code (surgical scrubs provided by the hospital)
- Participate in department floating as needed to EP and stress labs
- Deliver skilled support during high-acuity cardiac procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of each patient
