Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
- Monitor patient status, responding swiftly to changes and emergencies.
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Accurately document procedures, images, and patient data following facility guidelines.
- Ensure a sterile environment is maintained in the procedure room.
- Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech, preferably with experience in cardiac imaging.
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiovascular Technologist program.
- Current ARRT or RCIS certification required.
- State licensure (if applicable) and current BLS/ACLS certifications.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to function efficiently in fast-paced acute care settings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
