Step into a dynamic cardiac and vascular care environment at a leading teaching hospital recognized as a Magnet Designated facility, Level I Trauma Center, Chest Pain and Stroke Center with 874 licensed beds. This opportunity is for an experienced Imaging professional specializing in Cath Lab technology to deliver exceptional patient care on a contract basis.

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts (0730-1800), days
  • Weekend and call rotation discussed during interview
  • Orientation: One week before on-call, plus two days departmental and EPIC training

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
  • National certification (ARRT-R or RCIS for techs)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strongly prefer candidates with peripheral angiogram/run-off skills; EVAR, TEVAR, endograft experience preferred or willingness to learn
  • Openness to first-time travelers with required foundation
  • Must live at least 50 miles from the home unit per radius rule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with a variety of cardiac and vascular procedures (e.g., NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clip, lower extremity angiograms, EVAR, TEVAR)
  • Operate advanced technology and equipment including Philips, GE, Siemens X-ray, EPIC EMR, Merge Hemo, Alaris, Omnicell
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team: charge nurse, traffic coordinator, RTs, ECMO & Code teams
  • Participate in call and weekend coverage as scheduled
  • Attend facility and unit orientation as part of onboarding process
