Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Matthews, North Carolina

Advance your career as a Cath Lab Technologist in a supportive contract position focused on excellence in cardiovascular care. This role is ideal for skilled individuals passionate about high-quality patient diagnostics and interventional procedures using advanced imaging technology.

Schedule:

• 10-hour day shifts (40 hours per week)
• Shift hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
• On-call responsibility: Two weekends per month & two weekdays, discussed further during interview
• Weekend rotation: 2 per month; 1–2 call nights per week
• Holiday coverage: One per contract as needed

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
• Advanced knowledge of cardiovascular imaging procedures and equipment operation
• ARRT or RCIS certification preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative approach to patient care
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols

Duties:

• Prepare and operate imaging equipment for cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other diagnostic or interventional procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor, assess, and document patient responses throughout procedures
• Maintain detailed, accurate records and uphold infection control standards
• Respond promptly to on-call and call-back requirements, ensuring continuity of care outside standard hours
• Contribute to a positive, safe environment while prioritizing patient comfort and well-being
