Working as a traveling Cath Lab Tech here offers a unique chance to work alongside an experienced cardiac team, engage with advanced technologies and procedures, and broaden your clinical skills. You’ll find yourself immersed in clinically complex cases each week, all while enjoying North Dakota’s scenic beauty and welcoming atmosphere during your off-hours. The position offers invaluable experience within a supportive department, giving you the tools to advance your career and adapt to diverse workplace standards.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
  • Evening/weeknight call: 1–2 days per week, 3:30pm–7am
  • Every third weekend call: Friday–Monday morning (24hr)
  • Holiday call: Every other holiday
  • 20-minute call response time
  • Schedule posted 17 days ahead for 6 weeks

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Current BLS certification
  • RCIS or ARRT (ARRT must have active ND Rad Tech License via NDMIRT)
  • Radiation badge (must be supplied and in hand)
  • Experience with scrubbing and/or panning (panning is majority of duties)
  • Familiarity with IABP, Impella, Shockwave, IFR/FFR, IVUS, Rotapro, four-port manifold preferred
  • Prefer IV start experience
  • Proficient with EPIC & Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm
  • One week of comprehensive orientation provided

Duties Include:

  • Panning and scrubbing for cardiac and vascular procedures
  • IV starts as applicable
  • Assisting with emergent and routine interventions
  • Floating to Heart and Vascular Pre/Post as needed
