Step into an essential role as a Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Technologist, delivering high-level imaging support within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact working alongside a dedicated cardiac care team.
Schedule:
- 17-week engagement
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shifts
- On-call rotation based on departmental needs (every other weekend, every third weekend)
- Additional on-call coverage two days during the week
Qualifications:
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Credentials: RT(R) or RCIS required
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and invasive imaging modalities
- Familiarity with sterile technique, patient preparation, and lab equipment operations
- Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures, operating and troubleshooting laboratory imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety and accordance with all standards
- Assist in monitoring patients throughout the procedure and in the recovery phase
- Document clinical data, maintaining accurate patient and procedural records
- Participate in on-call coverage, maintaining readiness for rapid response outside regular hours
- Collaborate closely with nursing and physician teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
