Step into an essential role as a Cardiac Cath Lab Invasive Technologist, delivering high-level imaging support within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a chance to make a meaningful impact working alongside a dedicated cardiac care team.

Schedule:

  • 17-week engagement
  • 7:00 am – 3:30 pm shifts
  • On-call rotation based on departmental needs (every other weekend, every third weekend)
  • Additional on-call coverage two days during the week

Qualifications:

  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Credentials: RT(R) or RCIS required
  • Previous experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and invasive imaging modalities
  • Familiarity with sterile technique, patient preparation, and lab equipment operations
  • Excellent critical thinking, time management, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures, operating and troubleshooting laboratory imaging equipment
  • Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring safety and accordance with all standards
  • Assist in monitoring patients throughout the procedure and in the recovery phase
  • Document clinical data, maintaining accurate patient and procedural records
  • Participate in on-call coverage, maintaining readiness for rapid response outside regular hours
  • Collaborate closely with nursing and physician teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
