As an Invasive Technologist, you will use your specialized imaging and procedural skills alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team. Schedule:
- 17-week assignment
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shift
- On-call rotation based on unit needs
- Every third weekend required
- Two additional on-call days during the week
Qualifications:
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Valid RT(R) or RCIS credential required
- Previous experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist in an acute care environment
- Strong technical knowledge of invasive cardiac procedures and imaging equipment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, team-oriented settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and other interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Operate and monitor imaging and diagnostic equipment in line with established protocols
- Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and assists with inventory of supplies
- Adhere to regulatory standards, documentation, and infection control policies
- Participate in call rotations, responding promptly as needed to support urgent patient care
