Step into a crucial role supporting patient care in a dynamic cardiac cath lab environment. As an Invasive Technologist, you will use your specialized imaging and procedural skills alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team. This contract position is designed for professionals who thrive in fast-paced settings, and who are passionate about advancing cardiovascular health.

Schedule:

  • 17-week assignment
  • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM shift
  • On-call rotation based on unit needs
  • Every third weekend required
  • Two additional on-call days during the week

Qualifications:

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Valid RT(R) or RCIS credential required
  • Previous experience working as a Cath Lab Technologist in an acute care environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of invasive cardiac procedures and imaging equipment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, team-oriented settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations and other interventional cardiovascular procedures
  • Operate and monitor imaging and diagnostic equipment in line with established protocols
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety before, during, and after procedures
  • Prepare and maintain sterile fields and assists with inventory of supplies
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, documentation, and infection control policies
  • Participate in call rotations, responding promptly as needed to support urgent patient care
