Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist | Meriden, Connecticut

Schedule/Hours:

• 6:30am to 5pm
• Assigned late days throughout the week
• No weekends, no holidays

Qualifications:

• Active RCIS certification or RT(R) credential required
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
• Previous experience working in a Cath Lab or similar imaging setting strongly preferred
• Proficient understanding of invasive cardiovascular procedures and sterile technique
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a clinical team

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and documentation
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring safety and accuracy
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear explanations and compassionate care
• Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes
• Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment use, and supply inventory
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control protocols to ensure patient and team safety
