Schedule/Hours:
- 6:30am to 5pm
- Assigned late days throughout the week
- No weekends, no holidays
Qualifications:
- Active RCIS certification or RT(R) credential required
- Valid ACLS and BLS certifications
- Previous experience working in a Cath Lab or similar imaging setting strongly preferred
- Proficient understanding of invasive cardiovascular procedures and sterile technique
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a clinical team
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, including preparation, monitoring, and documentation
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Prepare patients for procedures, providing clear explanations and compassionate care
- Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures, responding promptly to changes
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, equipment use, and supply inventory
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and infection control protocols to ensure patient and team safety
